MDC DEMONSTRATIONS IN LONDON

Tomorrow, Monday 21st March 2011, we will have mother of all demonstrations in London. MDC South East District will lead this demonstration. All members of the MDC in the United Kingdom and all Zimbabweans are being encouraged to attend Zimbabwean Embassy at 1200 noon.We will stand against Robert Mugabe's brutality in Zimbabwe. The unnecessary arrests of  MDC party members and failure to respect the constitutes of the (GNU) Government of  National Unit.
We will also push for the Host nation to realise that Zimbabwe is a war zone. We are actually in a worse situation than Libya. As the district Women Organising Secretary I challenge all women to brace this day. Women are the vanguard of any revolution and I hope you will all come. I also urge the youth to attend and be counted on this Historic moment. The hour has come.

  1. Sunday 20 March 2011 I was just going through the our blog and happened upon Mai Mahlangu's notification of the demonstration to be held tomorrow 21 March. I find it hard to swallow that a party of excellence like ours would give notification of a "mass protest" just 24hrs before. Please understand I am not desparaging Mai Mahlangu in any way. I'm sure she's only just found out & had the good sense to notify the rest of us. What I lament Comrades, is the lack of communication to us branch members via the set system. It is useful to note that some cadres have to arrange child care, transport while some have to request the day off at work. Coming from Southend-On-Sea branch I took it as the standard that top-down communication systems existed. How could the same system have failed in this instance? 24hrs notice is simply not good enough. We have the resources to ensure every corner of the United Kingdom & Ireland is made aware of party business. Let us learn from this and move forward better, faster & stronger!
